Aspiring authors! Have you ever thought of writing a book on your intelligence, counterintelligence, law enforcement, or personal experience, or becoming a novelist but didn’t know how to go about it? This workshop brings together three of our accomplished authors to share their experiences and lay out the processes for developing, writing, preapproval, publishing, and pitching your book.

Our October session will feature:
 Veteran FBI special agent Robin Dreeke provides his expertise in building rapport, behavior, and trust in his writings. Dreeke authored The Code of Trust: An American Counterintelligence Expert's Five Rules to Lea and Succeed, It's Not All About Me: The Top Ten Techniques for Building Quick Rapport with Anyone, and Sizing People Up: A Veteran FBI Agent's User Manua for Behavior Prediction.

 Retired FBI special agent Peter J. Lapp specialized in counterintelligence and economic espionage. In his new book Queen of Cuba: An FBI Agent's Insider Account of the Spy Who Evaded Detection for 17 Years, Lapp details the espionage investigation and arrest of DIA analyst Anna Belen Montes, who spied for Cuba and served 21 years in prison for her crime.

 Retired DoD and US Army Counterintelligence Special Agent Scott O’Connell offers insights into his experience as the author of the Yankee Doodle Spies, a series of espionage novels set during the American Revolution, the Cold War espionage/time travel novel, Envoy of the Lord, an upcoming international intrigue novel, The Lafayette Circle. and is a non-fiction blogger on the American Revolution – whose work can be found on BlogSpot.
